Sample Rubric and Grade Scale GREAT PROJECT IDEAS Copyright Rules Form Sign up for class REMIND Art III is a Pre- AP Studio Arts Class which will use the elements and principles of design to explore advanced techniques in Drawing, 2-D, and 3-D skills. Pencil, color pencil, pen & ink, charcoal, acrylic paint, watercolor, sculpture materials, and clay will be used. This is a two-quarter class worth 1 credit. This course is designed for students whom have further interest in art and may be thinking about taking the AP Art & Design course their senior year. This course will encompass art history, art criticism, aesthetics, and production. All of this combined will lead to a portfolio with a variety of quality work which can be used for the AP Art & Design portfolio. Classwork will include bell ringers, projects, critiques, sketchbook assignments, and exams. In order to succeed in this class, students must meet the required criteria given for all assignments. These requirements will include but are not limited to creativity, craftsmanship, and work ethic. |
