Art II
Art II is a two-quarter class with a prerequisite of Art I and has an art fee of $25. This course is designed for students whom have an interest in art and want to enhance what they learned in Art I. This course will encompass art history, art criticism, aesthetics, and production. All of this combined will lead to a portfolio with quality work.
Students will use oil pastel, clay, pencil, linoleum block printing, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, and color pencils. Creativity, Craftsmanship, personal effort, critical thinking, sketchbook, and exams are all included in the grading process. In order to succeed in this class, students must meet the required criteria given for all assignments, be prepared to question and critique their own work, as well as, the work of others with an open mind and positive attitude. |
